CVSS scores severity in the abstract; predictive risk scores real-world exploitability given your assets, exposure, adversary activity and business context. A CVSS 7 on a public asset with active exploitation ranks above a CVSS 9 on an isolated internal one.
Is auto-remediation safe on production?
